The MTM team under the leadership of Roland Mayer has put together a whole range of measures to boost the performance of the RS3 Sportback 2.5 TFSI in various stages. Today we shall look only at the most ambitious of all of these.

With the help of a reinforced intercooler, an MTM turbocharger with flow optimized pre-tube, a sports air filter and high performance spark plugs the compact four-door auto made in Ingolstadt gets a considerable boost… from the series values of 340 horsepower and 450 Nm of torque MTM push the output to 472 horsepower and 600 Nm. This is the kind of harmonization that many will like, even if it does cost 9,630 Euros. But now the Audi will take only 4.1 seconds to hit the hundred mark (in series trim 4.6 seconds) and goes on until 292 kilometres an hour is reached (series 250 kilometres an hour). This kind of performance improvement also calls for an MTM exhaust system (3,465 Euros) and four-piston brakes (2,500 Euros).

But then there is the temptation to fill the wheel-arches even better with a set of MTM Bimoto alloys in 8.5x19 inch format and clothed with Michelin Super Sport tyres (3,010 Euros). Now the RS3 Sportback may look a bit ordinary with just a single body colour from nose to tail and so it would seem fitting to add a bit of vinyl… as seen in the photos… to liven things up a bit (only 2,500 Euros). If the wallet is not by this time empty why not go for the ergonomically correct and super looking bucket seats? They cost only 3,680 Euros.

Divide the cost
Adding the price of all this MTM magic to the cost of the original car (49,900 Euros) the total investment in the super explosive MTM RS3 Sportback will amount to 77,535 Euros.
