New images of the street version
The final series version of the Aston Martin V12 Zagato will make its European debut at the motor show in Geneva. To draw attention to this première the British car maker has released first images of the street-legal variant of the Zagato. A revelation is the interior of the exclusive limited edition super sports car… here they have used no fewer than seven different kinds of leather from the traditional Scottish tannery Bridge of Weir. There is hand quilting on the seats, the door linings and the lining of the roof as well and the dashboard and central console feature trim in carbon and piano lacquer. The carbon door-sills carry the ‘V12 Zagato’ logo.

Delivery at the end of the year
The other key data has already been known for some time. The Zagato is to be powered by the six-litre V12 engine also deployed in the Aston Martin Vantage model, a mill outputting 517 horsepower and 570 Nm of torque, able to propel the elegant car to a hundred kilometres an hour in 4.2 seconds and to go on providing push until a maximum speed of 305 is reached. The carosserie of the car co-produced by the British manufacturer with the Italians is entirely fabricated by hand in aluminium and carbon composite materials. The final assembly will be executed in the same works where the ‘One-77’ is to be built and production of just 150 examples of the Aston Martin V12 Zagato will start in the third quarter of this year. At the end of 2012 the first cars will be completed and put on sale at a price of 330 thousand Pounds (about 395 thousand Euros) before taxes.
